David Harbour said that a batch of scripts for his untitled Netflix thriller series with Millie Bobby Brown has been completed, and that the show will go into production early next year, according to screenrant.com.

In the series, Harbour plays Matt Wolfe, a disgraced former FBI agent who now works as a security expert. Millie Bobby Brown plays Rebecca, an FBI agent and Matt's estranged daughter.

The show is created by Jack Thorne and produced by A24. It is loosely inspired by Paul Warner's debut novel A Spy in the Blood, published in 2026.

Harbour described Thorne as a brilliant writer and said the series explores interesting themes. No release date or episode count has been announced.

Second pairing after Stranger Things

News of the project first surfaced in July 2026, when it was reported that Brown and Harbour were reuniting for a Netflix series as a father and daughter. The two previously starred together in Stranger Things, which ran from 2016 to 2025 and ended in December 2025. Thorne created the 2025 series Adolescence and wrote Netflix's three Enola Holmes films released between 2020 and 2026.
