Fest Godzilla II: Tokyo Vanishes screens at Godzilla Fest 2026
The 18-minute short, the longest in the series, features Millennium Godzilla and Monster X; new monsters were announced for future installments.
Godzilla Fest 2026 was held on November 3, 2026 at the outdoor stage of TAKANAWA GATEWAY CITY, where the new short film “Fest Godzilla II: Tokyo Vanishes” was screened, according to inside-games.jp. The event also announced new monsters that will appear in future installments.
The short runs 18 minutes, the longest in the Fest Godzilla series, and was made on the largest scale to date, with a newly produced Millennium Godzilla suit and upgraded miniature sets and explosion scenes. Millennium Godzilla and Monster X appear in the film.
The event's “New Monster General Election” project drew a large number of votes from overseas, and the turnout was large enough that the viewing area was expanded. New battle footage of Fest Godzilla drew 520,000 views in three days.
The remastered action game “Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee Remastered” was also released on November 3, 2026, and includes Burning Millennium Godzilla from last year's Fest Godzilla short as a DLC skin.
