Hayden Christensen Says Intruder Returned His Belongings After Recognizing Him
The Star Wars actor told an L.A. Comic Con panel that the man apologized and handed the items back, and never returned for the help he offered.
Hayden Christensen recounted at L.A. Comic Con what he described as his strangest fan encounter: an intruder who entered his home, began taking his belongings and then returned them after recognizing him as a Star Wars actor. The actor spoke about the episode during a panel at the event, according to screenrant.com.
Christensen said he was on the phone when the man came into his home and started gathering items. Once the intruder realized who he was, he apologized and gave the belongings back, and the police were not involved.
The actor said the man was in financial difficulty and was trying to get money to travel home. Christensen offered him clothing and shoes for job interviews, along with a train ticket, and said he would drive him to the station the next day.
According to Christensen, the man never came back to take up the offer.
