Outerlight Acquires Indie Distributor Bleecker Street

Bleecker Street joins Outerlight's Topic Studios but will keep operating separately, with its slate and leadership intact.

Outerlight Entertainment, the company formerly known as First Look, has acquired the independent distribution label Bleecker Street, according to IndieWire. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Following the acquisition, Bleecker Street will join Outerlight's Topic Studios. The two labels will continue to operate separately rather than merging their operations.

Bleecker Street's recent releases

Bleecker Street's recent output includes Mike Leigh's Tender Loving Care, The Liberation, last year's Spinal Tap II and Rebuilding.
