Paramount+ Originals Chief Jane Wiseman to Exit, Bloys Memo Says
Casey Bloys told staff in an internal memo that Paramount+ EVP of Originals Jane Wiseman is stepping down and will remain during a transition period.
Jane Wiseman, Executive Vice President of Originals at Paramount+, is leaving her role, according to an internal memo from Casey Bloys reported by screenrant.com. Wiseman will stay on at the streaming service for a transition period rather than departing immediately.
Bloys joined the conglomerate as Co-Chair and Chief Content Officer of Skydance Direct-to-Consumer, where he oversees HBO Max and Paramount+.
The change comes after the Paramount and Warner Bros. Discovery merger was completed, the deal that preceded Bloys taking the Skydance Direct-to-Consumer post.
Tenure and earlier changes
Wiseman took the EVP of Originals job in August 2025. During her tenure she greenlit 30 original series and renewed 16 others, and she cited more than 40 new and returning series across scripted, unscripted, kids & family and animation, including Discretion, Fear Not, Laird, Trauma, Ascent, Clueless and The Best Of Us.
Her former boss at Paramount+, Cindy Holland, had been in charge of the service and left the company. Paramount+ itself launched in March 2021.
