Kelly said the character is stuck in the painting of the Last Supper, which he described as possibly a purgatory situation. In the finale, Joey Pollari's Ben, the son of Satan, stabs his own heart with a sword and sacrifices himself, turning into ash.
Kelly also said he did not know how the season would go when he joined the cast, and that the writers were writing it as they went along.
American Horror Story, created by Ryan Murphy, aired 13 episodes in Season 13 and was renewed for a 14th season, according to comingsoon.net.
