AJ Networks, NOVA TECH sign deal to rent out robot automation

The two companies will combine NOVA TECH's automation packages with AJ Networks' B2B rental business to build Robot-as-a-Service products.

AJ Networks signed a business agreement with robot automation company NOVA TECH on October 25, 2026, to commercialize rental of robot automation solutions for manufacturing and logistics sites, according to bloter.net.

The two companies plan to combine NOVA TECH's robot automation technology with AJ Networks' B2B rental capabilities to develop Robot-as-a-Service (RaaS) products. The collaboration covers 8 types of NOVA TECH automation packages: production line parts supply, pallet transport and stacking, box and tote picking, heavy load transport, packaging and palletizing, high-density automated warehouse, integrated control of existing equipment, and automated loading and unloading.

AJ Networks said it will configure rental products tailored to each customer's work environment based on NOVA TECH's standard packages, pairing equipment supply with rental contract design, operational support and maintenance.

The signing ceremony was attended by NOVA TECH's CEO and AJ Networks Vice President Choi Ji-young, who heads the company's B&T division.

Earlier robot rental work

AJ Networks had already been pursuing a robot rental business centered on serving robots and collaborative robots. In April 2024, the company moved its robot maintenance organization from a subsidiary to headquarters and reorganized its existing IT division into the B&T division.
