Apple ships iOS 27.2 with more than 130 security fixes
The update blocks apps from reaching the camera without permission and closes gaps that exposed private user data, Apple said.
Apple released iOS 27.2 for download on Monday, an update that carries well over 130 security enhancements according to appleinsider.com.
Twenty-five of the fixes are designed to stop attackers from reaching sensitive user data. The update also closes an Accounts and App Intents issue that allowed apps to view private user information.
Two additional vulnerabilities were resolved with extra entitlement checks, Apple said on its website. iOS 27.2 also prevents apps from accessing the iPhone camera system without permission.
The release lands days after the iPhone Duo reached customers.
