Casio to launch CRW-002 ring watch in November 2026

The CRW-002 brings the functions and design of Casio's A168 standard watch to a ring, priced from 19,800 yen.

Casio Computer will release two models of its ring-shaped digital watch, the CASIO RING WATCH CRW-002, in November 2026, according to watch.impress.co.jp. The new models reproduce the functions and design of Casio's standard A168 watch at ring size.

The silver CRW-002D-1AJR is priced at 19,800 yen and the gold CRW-002G-9AJR at 22,000 yen. Both are battery-powered quartz timepieces built on module No. 3595, with an accuracy of ±30 seconds per month and a battery life of 2 years. Battery replacement is possible through manufacturer repair.

Functions include dual time, a 1/100-second stopwatch with 60-minute measurement, a time flashing light with alarm, an auto calendar that handles a 28-day February, 12/24-hour display switching and a white LED backlight.

The ring size is 22, with an inner diameter of 20mm. Size-adjusting spacers for size 19 (inner diameter 19mm) and size 16 (inner diameter 18mm) are included in the box. The body measures 25.2 x 18.2 x 6.2mm and weighs 15g, and the band section has a matte finish that gives it a different texture from the case.

Follow-up to the CRW-001

Casio released the full-metal ring-shaped digital watch CRW-001 in December 2024. The A168 used as the design motif here is a long-selling standard Casio model known as "cheap Casio."
