CJ ENM swings to 25.021 billion won net loss in Q3 2026

CJ ENM reported a consolidated net loss of 25.021 billion won for the third quarter of 2026, swinging from a net profit of 79.778 billion won in the same period a year earlier, according to figures the company released on November 5, 2026.

Revenue for the quarter came to 1.1904 trillion won, down 4.4% from 1.2456 trillion won a year earlier. Operating profit, by contrast, rose 25.5% to 22.053 billion won from 17.571 billion won.

The company also posted a pre-tax loss from continuing operations of 28.235 billion won, compared with a profit of 85.073 billion won a year earlier. Net loss attributable to owners of the parent was 17.933 billion won, reversing a profit of 45.776 billion won.

Nine-month results

Cumulative revenue from January 1 to September 30, 2026 reached 3.7233 trillion won, up 0.7% from 3.6968 trillion won. Cumulative operating profit for the nine months was 56.959 billion won, up 21.5% from 46.886 billion won.

The nine-month period ended with a net loss of 8.877 billion won, a swing to loss year on year, while profit attributable to owners of the parent fell 89.2% to 11.844 billion won from 109.592 billion won.

CJ ENM presented the results on its third-quarter earnings conference call on November 5, 2026. The figures are provisional K-IFRS consolidated results and have not completed external auditor review. In October 2026, the company had issued a preliminary notice of its earnings disclosure.
