Garmin has launched the Descent X10, an entry-level dive computer that adds a rental mode aimed at dive shops and operators. According to datanet.co.kr, the mode lets operators configure the device to a diver's skill level and reset it with a single click after the dive.
The watch has a 2.1-inch high-contrast backlit display with large text and a dive rating of 100 meters. Garmin rates battery life at up to 50 hours of diving on one charge.
Optional interchangeable bezel guards come in various colors, protecting the device and helping identify individual or rental units. The housing and bezel use material made from 100% recycled ocean plastic.
