Google Tests Gemini-Powered Help Assistant on Support Pages
Google is trialing an AI support desk labeled 'Built with Gemini' on Google Play, Chrome, Google Home and Nest, and Gemini Apps, according to Android Authority.
Google is testing a new AI-powered support assistant on some of its official help pages, according to Android Authority. The tool, which appears under the label 'Built with Gemini,' turns the company's help center into a conversational support desk.
The feature was confirmed on support pages for Google Play, Chrome, Google Home and Nest, and Gemini Apps across both mobile and desktop, Android Authority reported. A contributor credited as AssembleDebug spotted the implementation.
Google Play currently shows the most complete version of the tool, while many other Google support pages still do not display it. Google has not said when or whether the assistant will reach a wider set of pages.
The company has previously placed Gemini in its apps, search experiences and Android itself, extending the AI model across its consumer products.
