imCore launches AI filmmaking platform Core Studio in Taipei

The platform combines more than 24 specialized AI agents, an in-house image model and a 16-bit color pipeline for film production teams.

imCore Corp. launched Core Studio, an AI filmmaking platform, at the Taiwan Creative Content Fest in Taipei on November 7, according to Variety. The platform covers script development, storyboarding, image generation, editing and color grading.

Core Studio runs on an in-house image-generation model and also works with outside generative AI models. It includes more than 24 specialized AI agents for story development, asset generation, visual effects, editing and color grading.

Among its tools is Story Atlas, which breaks an imported script into scenes, shots and storyboards while maintaining consistency of characters, costumes, props and voices. A cloud workspace provides real-time communication, version control and access management for distributed teams.

The platform's Real Engine combines Real Video, Real HDR and Real Revive, which raise color depth from 8-bit to 16-bit and correct blown-out highlights. According to the company, every AI-generated output carries a record of the models, prompts, parameters, costs and human review results used to produce it.

The launch event included TAICCA CEO Erica Wang and representatives from the Taipei Film Commission. imCore Corp. was founded by Charles Lee, who also founded TWR Entertainment.
