Itda, Weolgeupjaengi Bujadeul, Gcoo Hold Joint Media Seminar on Youth Concerns

The three companies unveiled user data analysis at a seminar in Seoul on the 7th, covering 56,030 youth questions and 41,552 professional answers accumulated from November 2013 to September this year.

Itda, Weolgeupjaengi Bujadeul, and Gcoo (Gibike) held a joint media seminar titled '2026 Korean Youth Concerns' on the 7th at PR Bridge Storium in Seodaemun-gu, Seoul, according to it.donga.com. The three companies presented analysis of their user data related to youth employment and careers at the event.

Itda disclosed an analysis of 56,030 questions from young people and 41,552 answers from professionals, accumulated from November 2013 through September this year. From this data, Itda identified three major tasks for addressing youth employment issues: lowering the threshold for first work experience, expanding access to on-the-ground information, and providing continued career support after employment.

In the background data, the share of questions about exploring entry into occupations fell from 25.7% in 2020-2022 to 17.3% in 2025-2026. The proportion of AI-related questions rose from 0.4% before ChatGPT's public release in November 2022 to 9.1% in 2025-2026. The share of professionals who suggested AI in their answers even when young people did not ask about it increased from 4.5% in 2022 to 21.8% this year.

Advice recommending AI use grew from 21.3% in 2020-2022 to 39.7% in 2025-2026, while answers expressing concerns about AI replacement or reduction declined from 12.9% to 7.3% over the same period. Among workplace questions expressing anxiety, 56% focused on job changes and resignations, 20% on age-related concerns and career gaps, and only 4% were directly related to AI.

The anxiety index was highest in accounting, finance, and financial sectors at 24.4%, while IT development and data roles were at 11.1%, below the average of 14.3%.
