Ludo Robotics unveils Ludi 0.2 robot AI at Berkeley symposium
KRAFTON's robotics arm presented the system at the 2026 Bay Area Robotics Symposium and opened a research lab in Palo Alto, California.
Ludo Robotics, the robotics research subsidiary of KRAFTON, unveiled Ludi 0.2, a robot AI system built to communicate and cooperate with people, on October 30 at the 2026 Bay Area Robotics Symposium at UC Berkeley in the United States, according to inven.co.kr.
The presentation was given by KRAFTON CAIO and Ludo Robotics CTO Lee Kang-wook. Alongside the announcement, Ludo Robotics said it has officially opened a headquarters research lab in Palo Alto, California, which will operate together with its Seoul office.
According to the company, Ludi 0.2 improves on its predecessor in understanding human intent and reacting to changes in the environment. It adds enhanced memory and reasoning that keep context across different tasks, along with improved tool manipulation that links movement, object manipulation and interaction.
The system also improves how it understands and responds to human gestures, and delivers smoother, more flexible motion in set environments.
Ludo Robotics said it is now developing Ludi 1.0, a next-generation foundation model intended to unify environmental perception, dialogue and physical action in a single model.
Earlier version
In August 2026, Ludo Robotics released Ludi 0.1, built on a vision-language model that combined conversation and reasoning with movement and object manipulation.
