HARMAN's Sound Legends Exhibition Draws About 2,000 Visitors in Seoul

The Seoul show, the final stop of JBL Playback Gallery, marked JBL's 80th and Bowers & Wilkins' 60th anniversaries, HARMAN said.

HARMAN said its "Sound Legends" exhibition, held to mark JBL's 80th anniversary and Bowers & Wilkins' 60th anniversary, drew about 2,000 industry visitors and members of the public during its run in Seoul, according to inven.co.kr. The company announced the closing of the exhibition on November 2, 2026.

The exhibition ran from October 21 to 31 at Project Space Line in Samseong-dong, Seoul. All advance reservation slots on Naver were fully booked, and the venue received about 180 pre-booked visitors plus walk-ins each day.

The Seoul event was the final stop of JBL Playback Gallery, JBL's global project for its 80th anniversary. JBL showed the JBL Summit K2, its next-generation flagship reference speaker, in Korea for the first time. Musician and visual creator DAWN presented commemorative artwork reinterpreting JBL's 80 Years Powering Voices campaign, and DJ Soulscape took part in a JBL Music Talk session where music was played through the JBL L100 Classic 80.

The Bowers & Wilkins section displayed the 800 Series Diamond D5 lineup, including the top 801 D5, across five models. An Abbey Road Studios recreation space let visitors listen to the 801 D5, while the Px8 S2 wireless headphones were available to try and the Pi8 wireless earbuds were on display.

Bowers & Wilkins was founded in Worthing, England, in 1966. In 1979, the 801 was introduced at Abbey Road Studios, beginning the collaboration between the studio and the brand.
