Meta adds Spaces workspaces to its Muse AI agent

Spaces sit in the Muse sidebar and open a topic-based conversation, and Meta says Muse can build trackers and planners from chat prompts.

Meta introduced Spaces, a new feature for its Muse AI agent that groups conversations around a specific topic, according to digitaltoday.co.kr. The feature appears in the sidebar of the Muse screen and opens a conversation when tapped.

Meta said that within a Space, Muse works toward goals set by the user on their behalf. Users who describe an idea in chat can have Muse create trackers, planners and project boards as Spaces, and Spaces can connect to external apps and information so they update in the background.

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg said on X that he has been using Muse Spaces himself, and that he built a barbecue game, an event tracker and a home control dashboard with it.

Spaces is the second new Muse feature Meta has released in about a week. On November 5, 2026, the company announced Muse Voice, which lets users give voice commands while on a video call with the agent.

Meta is competing with other AI agents such as OpenAI's Dots and SpaceXAI's Grokbot, which use similar cartoon-style characters.
