MoneyForward ME adds opt-in Meta Muse AI agent link

Users who connect the accounts can review spending and assets by chat, but Muse cannot move money or change MoneyForward ME data.

MoneyForward Home has begun offering an integration between its household budgeting and asset management service MoneyForward ME and Meta's personal AI agent Muse, the company said. The connection lets users review spending trends and asset composition by talking to Muse, drawing on income, expenditure and asset data registered in MoneyForward ME, according to k-tai.watch.impress.co.jp.

The integration is opt-in. Users who grant permission share MoneyForward ME data on transactions, assets and liabilities with Muse, and can also use the connection to build plans toward savings goals.

MoneyForward Home said login credentials for connected banks and securities firms are not shared with Muse. The connection is read-only: Muse cannot modify or update data in MoneyForward ME, and trades, withdrawals and transfers cannot be made through the integration.

Users connect through the connector screen in Muse's settings or from a chat, and can disconnect from Muse at any time. Meta describes Muse as an AI agent that supports planning and task execution according to user goals rather than only answering questions.
