NIA outlines funding rules for privately financed public SW projects
Companies bidding for public software projects must submit business plans and investment recovery structures, the NIA said at a November 3 briefing in Seoul.
The 한국지능정보사회진흥원 (NIA) introduced participation requirements and procedures for privately financed public software projects at an integrated briefing session held on November 3 at Yonsei University's Severance Building in Jung-gu, Seoul.
At the session, the NIA said companies proposing public SW projects must prepare business plans, investment cost recovery plans and funding structures. Projects are divided into lease-type and revenue-type depending on how investment costs are recovered.
For privately proposed projects, companies are required to present revenue models, expected returns and financial structures that include government rent or subsidies. Projects with total costs under 2 billion won are handled through a simplified fast-track review.
A senior NIA official explained the requirements to attendees. The event was reported by techm.kr.
