Nvidia briefs Seoul press on RTX Spark AI laptops from $2,399

The RTX Spark pairs a Blackwell GPU with a Grace CPU for up to 128GB of unified memory and 1 petaflop of AI performance, Nvidia said in Seoul.

Nvidia held an RTX Spark press briefing on November 6 at the JW Marriott Hotel Seoul, where Jeff Yen, the company's APAC technical marketing director, explained the background of the product, according to techm.kr. The RTX Spark combines RTX graphics with Nvidia's full-stack AI platform on Windows PCs.

The system pairs a Blackwell GPU with a Grace CPU, supporting up to 128GB of unified memory and 1 petaflop of AI computing performance. Nvidia positions local AI around privacy, response speed and cost savings, and says the system can run at 98% of adapter performance on battery. Notebooks with RTX Spark start at $2,399 globally, and some high-end configurations in Korea are expected to reach around 10 million won.

Yen described the product as a premium laptop and named AI developers and content creators as the main buyers. Kim Seon-wook, Nvidia Korea's technical marketing managing director, said early Korean buyers are mostly customers who want high-spec AI PCs for their own purposes.

Software and demos

Nvidia also introduced Nemo Switchyard, which splits AI agent tasks between local and cloud models, and the Nemotron 3.5 Nano 74B local model, which uses 2-bit quantization to run on 24GB of memory. Demos ran on the Microsoft Surface Laptop Ultra, ASUS ProArt P16, MSI Prestige N16 Flip AI+ and Lenovo Yoga Pro 9n, with gaming shown via NBA 2K27 and Aion 2.

Nvidia declined to comment on possible RTX Spark products from Samsung Electronics and LG Electronics, on memory supply from Korean chipmakers, or on successor products and price cuts. The company launched the RTX Spark in October 2026, and founder and CEO Jensen Huang introduced it in Korea during his visit in June 2026.
