OpenAI Launches ChatGPT Space for Collaborative AI Editing

OpenAI announced ChatGPT Space at its DevDay event, a shared workspace where people and AI can edit the same documents together. The feature replaces Library for eligible users and is rolling out to Pro, Business, and Enterprise users on the web and desktop.
Space introduces Pages, editable documents that can contain text, images, charts, tables, files, and interactive tools. Users can turn an existing ChatGPT conversation into a Page, then invite teammates to make changes in real time, each working with their own ChatGPT.
Comments can be used to request specific edits or hand work to ChatGPT or a Dot. Space can also use connected services such as Google Drive and Slack. Collaborative Slides and Sheets are coming soon, but the automatic 'Keep updated' page feature is not available at launch.
Mobile currently supports finding, reading, and sharing pages, but not creating or editing them. The announcement was reported by androidauthority.com.
At the same DevDay event in October 2025, OpenAI also announced the GPT-6.1 Sol model and its always-on Dots agents.
