Oracle unveils Fusion agentic apps at AI World

Oracle co-CEO Mike Sicilia said AI will force organizations to rewrite processes and reconsider which tasks remain necessary.

Oracle introduced its Fusion Agentic Applications at the company's annual AI World event, according to TechRadar. The applications are designed to reason over business data, analyze it, simulate possible outcomes and execute approved actions.

Co-CEO Mike Sicilia said AI will force organizations to rewrite their processes and question which of their current tasks remain necessary, TechRadar reported.

Oracle cited its own recruiting team as an early example: preparing market research now takes 15 to 20 minutes with agentic AI, down from 2 to 4 days before the team adopted the technology.

The new applications include a strategic field demand planning tool for HR organizations that forecasts workforce demand, identifies staffing gaps and handles adjustments. A separate executive briefing application compiles customer history, company news and revenue potential into a single document ahead of meetings.

Karthik Raghavan, Oracle's senior vice president of applications development, also spoke about the products, according to TechRadar.
