Palantir signs partnership with footwear maker Changshin to deploy Foundry and AIP
Palantir said the deal links shoe development and sample planning to factory production, building on a recent AgentCamp prototype.
Palantir Technologies announced on November 6 that it has signed a partnership with global footwear manufacturer Changshin Inc. to apply Palantir Foundry and AIP across the company’s development and production operations, according to techm.kr.
The partnership is intended to connect information and workflows from shoe development and sample planning through factory production, so that each Changshin team can see the entire process. The two companies plan to link development-stage decisions with factory production planning and execution.
The deal builds on results from a recent “AgentCamp” program, in which Changshin engineers and Palantir built and demonstrated initial workflows using Changshin’s data.
Control over AI application
Ryan Taylor, Palantir’s CRO and CLO, said the companies will introduce Foundry and AIP while Changshin retains control over how AI is applied at every stage.
Changshin CEO Nam Chung-il said the partnership will embed data and AI into the way the company works.
