Sands Lab Launches Air-Gapped AI Threat Intelligence Product

CTX for Air-Gapped Networks analyzes suspicious files offline using an AI model trained on 3.3 billion pieces of threat data.

Sands Lab released a threat intelligence product called CTX for Air-Gapped Networks on November 5, 2026. The product analyzes cyber threats and looks up information without any internet connection, according to digitaltoday.co.kr.

The air-gapped version of CTX contains an AI model trained on 3.3 billion pieces of threat data collected and analyzed by Sands Lab. When a user registers a suspicious file, the AI determines whether it is malicious and assigns a risk level, then summarizes the file's main behavior and characteristics.

The product also supports a separate update method so that the latest threat information can be reflected without an internet connection.

Why offline networks need it

According to the company, public institutions, financial firms and the defense sector in Korea often run work networks separated from external internet networks under security regulations. Many existing threat intelligence services are delivered on a web or cloud basis, which limits their use in those environments.
