VINATECH wins 242.5 billion won in data-center supercapacitor deals
The two supply contracts with SANMINA CORPORATION and ACBEL POLYTECH equal 294.9% of VINATECH's full-year 2025 revenue, the company disclosed.
VINATECH disclosed two data-center supercapacitor supply contracts worth 123 billion won and 119.5 billion won, announced on the 19th and 21st of October 2026, according to digitaltoday.co.kr. Combined, the deals total about 242.5 billion won, equal to 294.9% of the company's full-year 2025 revenue of 82.229 billion won.
The larger contract runs to SANMINA CORPORATION, with supply scheduled through December 23, 2027. The second covers ACBEL POLYTECH and extends to February 1, 2028. Both contracts will be supplied through VINATECH's overseas plants.
Convertible bond to fund production expansion
On October 20, 2026, VINATECH approved a 29 billion won convertible bond issue, with all proceeds going to expand high-power supercapacitor production. Including this issue, the company has issued 92 billion won in convertible bonds this year.
If all three convertible bonds are converted, 905,708 new shares would be issued, equal to 12.61% of the 7,184,104 shares currently outstanding.
The new orders build on earlier deals with the same customers. VINATECH announced 13.1 billion won and 13.3 billion won contracts with SANMINA CORPORATION on July 6 and September 7, 2026 respectively, and signed a 38.4 billion won contract with ACBEL POLYTECH on July 13. On June 30, it signed a 41.2 billion won data-center supercapacitor system supply contract with Bloom Energy. Cumulative contracts with SANMINA CORPORATION now total 145.88815 billion won and with ACBEL POLYTECH 161.37237 billion won.
