Xigma to launch AICON GPU/NPU sharing platform in December

The platform links idle GPU and NPU capacity from universities, research institutes and companies to AI developers and small businesses.

Xigma announced that AICON, its cloud platform for sharing high-performance GPU and NPU computing resources, will launch officially in December, according to datanet.co.kr. Before that, the company plans a closed beta in November to check resource connection, platform stability and ease of use.

AICON connects idle GPU and NPU capacity held by universities, research institutes and companies to AI developers and small businesses. The platform uses Docker and CUDA-based container isolation to keep each user's workspace separate, and a data non-contact structure so outside users cannot reach suppliers' internal data.

Xigma said it has developed core scheduling and allocation technology for computing resources and has filed related patents.

The company aims to expand AICON supply to public and private markets in 2027 and to link with overseas computing resource providers as part of a global expansion.

Daegu startup background

Xigma is based in Daegu and was selected for the Startup Promotion Agency's re-challenge success package. It moved into a venture office run by the Daegu Center for Creative Economy and Innovation and Samsung within Samsung Creative Campus, and has completed hiring a CTO while pursuing the establishment of a corporate research institute.
