The Loud House Renewed for Season 10 as Production Moves to Canada

Director Jessica Borutski said the Los Angeles crew was not hired for the new season, calling the shift a cost-cutting decision.

Nickelodeon's The Loud House has been renewed for a tenth season, and production is moving from Los Angeles to Canada, according to longtime series director Jessica Borutski.

Borutski said the showrunners will remain with the series, but that none of the Los Angeles crew was hired for the new production season. She described the move as a cost-cutting decision.

She made the comments in an interview with Maxwell Atoms, creator of Grim & Evil, on his YouTube series Billy & Mandy vs. The Entertainment Industry, as reported by cartoonbrew.com.

In the same interview, Borutski said she knows of no shows currently being made with assisted AI at studios like Nickelodeon. She cited Disney Jr.'s Ozzy Fox, made with AI-focused company Animaj, as the lone exception she is aware of.
