FromSoftware delays The Duskbloods to 2027 on Switch 2

The studio says the extra time will be used for a final adjustment period covering game rules and balance.

FromSoftware announced on October 29, 2026 that The Duskbloods will now launch in 2027 instead of 2026. The title is in development for Nintendo Switch 2.

According to 4gamer.net, the studio said the change allows for a final adjustment period for game rules and balance, so that the concept praised in the network test can be realized at a higher level.

The Duskbloods is a new title directed by Hidetaka Miyazaki. It is a PvPvE game for up to 8 players, in which participants control characters called Bloodline and take part in a four-phase Twilight Battle.

FromSoftware held a network test for the game from August 21 to 24, 2026. A media hands-on event was also held before the test.
