Salt Entertainment Announces Hellraiser Tabletop RPG and Two Board Games
Salt Entertainment's Hellraiser tabletop line includes an RPG written by Francesco Nepitello and Hellraiser: Puzzle of Flesh, with first releases planned for Halloween 2027.
Salt Entertainment has announced a line of Clive Barker's Hellraiser tabletop adaptations, including a full tabletop roleplaying game, according to screenrant.com. The first releases from the projects are planned for Halloween 2027, timed to the original film's 40th anniversary.
The Hellraiser RPG will be designed and written by Francesco Nepitello, co-designer of The One Ring tabletop RPG. Nepitello said designing a horror roleplaying game had been a long-time ambition. Salt Entertainment president Geoff Skinner confirmed that Clive Barker is approving material and guiding the creative direction of the projects, with the team drawing on both the films and Barker's novella The Hellbound Heart.
Dice, deduction and the Lament Configuration
Hellraiser: Puzzle of Flesh is a dice-based push-your-luck game by designer Travis Chance with escape-room and social-deduction elements, packaged in a Lament Configuration-style box that doubles as a dice tumbler. An untitled Hellraiser board game is being designed by Michael Shinall, whose credits include Bloodborne: The Board Game and Marvel Zombies.
It is unclear whether Nepitello's RPG will launch alongside Puzzle of Flesh or later. The announcement follows Clive Barker's Hellraiser: Revival, a survival horror video game released earlier in October 2026 that earned overwhelmingly favorable Steam reviews.
