Magic: The Gathering Star Trek Set Reveals Harry Kim Card
Ensign Harry Kim, Operations is a two-mana rare in the Federation Fleet Commander deck, one of four decks in the crossover arriving November 13, 2026.
Wizards of the Coast has shown off a new card from its Magic: The Gathering x Star Trek crossover: Ensign Harry Kim, Operations, which appears in the Federation Fleet Commander deck. The crossover releases on November 13, 2026, according to screenrant.com.
Ensign Harry Kim, Operations is a rare Legendary Creature typed as a Human Officer. It costs two mana and has 1 power and 2 toughness, and it gains a +1/+1 counter whenever another creature with greater power enters the battlefield under the player's control.
The Federation Fleet deck is led by Jean-Luc Picard, Luminary, and also includes Voyager characters Kathryn Janeway, Tom Paris and Seven of Nine. The crossover spans four Commander decks: Federation Fleet, Landing Party, Klingon Fury and We Are the Borg, led by Spock, Worf and the Borg Queen respectively.
Each of the four decks contains 100 cards, 32 of which are new to Magic. Collector's Editions with surge foil treatments will also be available.
A long-standing ensign
Harry Kim debuted in Star Trek: Voyager 31 years ago and remained an ensign through the show's seven-season run, apart from an erased alternate-future promotion. Star Trek: Lower Decks later built its "Fissure Quest" episode around Kim's failure to be promoted. The Magic crossover arrives as the Star Trek franchise celebrates its 60th anniversary.
