NCSoft Brings Startup with NC Booth to G-Star B2C Hall for First Time

NCSoft will set up a "Startup with NC" booth in the business-to-consumer (B2C) hall of G-Star 2026 for the first time, the company announced. Two startups, Superjoy and GenieSoft, will take part in the B2C hall booth this year.

G-Star 2026 will be held at BEXCO in Busan from November 19 to 22, according to techm.kr.

NCSoft has supported Korean game startups' participation in G-Star together with the Korea Internet Corporations Association since 2017. In 2023 the company reduced the number of supported companies and increased support per company, and renamed the joint exhibition hall "Startup with NC."

According to a performance survey by the Korea Internet Corporations Association, 17 supported startups posted about 67.58 billion won in revenue last year, up 558% from when they attended G-Star. Their cumulative revenue since participation reached 290.77 billion won, and cumulative investment attracted totaled 19.28 billion won.

Employees at the surveyed companies rose from 163 to 448, an increase of 285. Games by the surveyed companies have recorded 144.29 million cumulative downloads, about 84% of them overseas.
