Mass Effect fans circle EA HQ with billboard ahead of N7 Day
The #SaveMassEffect campaign sent a mobile billboard truck past EA's Redwood City offices on November 6, 2026, as a BioWare documentary was announced.
The #SaveMassEffect campaign group We are Mass Effect sent a mobile billboard truck to circle Electronic Arts and EA Sports headquarters in Redwood City, California, on November 6, 2026, one day before N7 Day, according to windowscentral.com. The truck carried a sign with a QR code and a website URL pointing to SaveMassEffect.com.
A second mobile billboard is due to appear near BioWare's former offices on N7 Day, November 7, 2026. The group has also prepared a video featuring contributors, fans and original Commander Shepard voice actors Jennifer Hale and Mark Meer, and is promoting an "N7 Play Day" to boost Steam player numbers for Mass Effect: Legendary Edition.
Another billboard is planned to drive around The Game Awards ceremony for about four hours next month.
BioWare documentary set for 2027
Separately, a documentary titled MASSIVE EFFECT: THE BIOWARE STORY has been announced, slated to premiere in 2027. It is created by Shane Fennessey and Adam Scorgie and features Geoff Keighley, Casey Hudson and former EA CEO John Riccitiello.
BioWare co-founders Greg Zeschuk and Ray Muzyka gave a joint statement for the film's reveal. The filmmakers are inviting fans to submit fan art, cosplay, convention photos and videos and memorabilia for possible inclusion in the documentary.
The campaign follows the closure of BioWare and the cancellation of a Mass Effect game. In November 2026, the group also placed a digital billboard in Times Square. N7 Day is an annual November 7 celebration of the Mass Effect franchise.
