Takara Tomy unveils Tomica Parking Tray 10, out late December 2026
The 990-yen tray holds 10 Tomica cars and is the first toy to earn both Eco Mark and Guide Dog Mark certification.
Takara Tomy has announced the Tomica Parking Tray 10, a parking-garage-style tray that stores and displays up to 10 Tomica die-cast cars, according to gamebiz.jp. The product carries a suggested retail price of 990 yen including tax and is scheduled to go on sale in late December 2026.
Reservations open on October 30, 2026 at the Takara Tomy Mall official online store. The trays can be connected both horizontally and vertically, allowing users to build a multi-level parking garage. Beyond the Takara Tomy Mall, the item will be sold at toy specialty stores, department store and mass-retailer toy sections, Tomica and Plarail Shops and other online stores.
Dual certification
More than 50 percent of the plastic used in the tray is recycled plastic sourced from manufacturing waste. The product obtained Eco Mark certification under product category No. 118 for plastic products, and it is also certified under the Guide Dog Mark for inclusive toys that blind and sighted children can enjoy together. Takara Tomy says it is the first toy product to receive both certifications.
Takara Tomy first earned Eco Mark certification for a toy in 2012, with the Plarail Eco Straight Rail and Eco Curve Rail, and the Tomica Parking Case 24 followed in 2014 — the last Takara Tomy new product to hold the label before this one. The company has promoted recycled-plastic product development through its Eco Toy activities since 2011.
