Blizzard raises damage for all classes in final World of Warcraft: Forever patch

The last beta feedback update also increases high-level creature health and boosts respawn rates in low-level zones ahead of the November 4 launch.

Blizzard has detailed a final round of fixes and balance changes for World of Warcraft: Forever, the game's launch-week patch notes show, with every class set to deal more damage. The update is based on beta feedback and arrives before the game launches on November 4.

To compensate for the higher class damage, Blizzard is increasing the health of high-level creatures. The patch notes also include tuning for a wide range of classes and specs, intended to distinguish Forever's changes from those in The Burning Crusade and Wrath of the Lich King.

Creature respawn rates in lower-level zones are being increased to support large player volumes at launch. Official gamepad support has also been updated to a complete functional state, with all major gameplay and core user interface experiences playable with a controller, according to Polygon.

Blizzard said it will leave balance alone until Forever's raids open on December 9, at which point it will make a large tuning pass based on live game data.

Background
