World of Warcraft: Forever Launches November 4 With Nine New Dungeons

A standard WoW subscription covers the launch, but the new Skyborne race requires a $30 Skyborne Heroic Pack, according to Kotaku.

World of Warcraft: Forever launches on November 4, Blizzard Entertainment's upcoming release bringing nine new dungeons, new zones and a new playable race to the game, according to Kotaku. A standard World of Warcraft subscription is enough to play it.

The Skyborne race and its starting zone sit behind the $30 Skyborne Heroic Pack. More expensive bundles include the Skyborne race plus other bonuses across Forever and other WoW games.

The nine launch dungeons include Hall of Thanes for levels 13-18, Ruins of Lordaeron for levels 16-22, Excavation Site for levels 26-32, City of Dalaran for levels 28-34 and The Drowned City for levels 35-40. At level 35, players can quest through the new Riverglades zone in Eastern Kingdoms.

New zones and class options

Mount Hyjal in Kalimdor serves as a new endgame leveling zone, while Shen'Dralas is a new zone between Mulgore and Desolace. Players can also roll Undead paladins and Dwarf shamans in Forever.

Forever keeps the original forms of Kalimdor and Eastern Kingdoms from before Cataclysm. In the original World of Warcraft, those continents appeared in their pre-Cataclysm state, and Mount Hyjal was a fabled zone that did not appear until Cataclysm. In the Forever Beta, Shen'Dralas was too high level and seemed incomplete.
