South Korea ratings board lists 29 classic Capcom titles

The Game Rating and Administration Committee rated games including Mega Man X and Street Fighter 2: The World Warrior; Capcom has announced no project.

South Korea's Game Rating and Administration Committee rated 29 classic Capcom titles in a report dated October 27, according to gamerant.com. The list includes Mega Man, Mega Man 2, Mega Man X, Street Fighter 2: The World Warrior, Final Fight, Breath of Fire and Demon's Crest.

Every game on the list previously had a full home console release, meaning the ratings cover titles that have already appeared on dedicated hardware rather than arcade-only software.

Capcom has not announced a project tied to these ratings. The filings also do not confirm whether the titles are planned for one collection, multiple releases or something else, so the shape of any potential release remains unknown.

Capcom's recent retro output

Capcom has leaned on its back catalog in recent years. In 2021, the Capcom Arcade Stadium games brought dozens of arcade classics to modern platforms, and in 2025 Capcom Fighting Collection 2 revived games like Power Stone and Capcom vs. SNK 2. The Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection recently re-released another part of the publisher's catalog.

Demon's Crest, released in 1994 for the SNES, is an action platformer starring Firebrand that gained a cult following.
