Agnieszka Holland has joined the documentary short The Tuners as an executive producer, ahead of the film's mid-November release by The New York Times Op-Docs, according to hollywoodreporter.com. Joanna Kulig and Weronika Milczewska are also executive producers on the project.
The Tuners is directed by Pawel Chorzepa and produced by Joanna Chorzepa. The 22-minute film follows piano tuners Jarosław Bednarski, Ortwin Moreau and Hidemi Okubo.
It is a Bees Film House production presented by The New York Times Op-Docs.
The short has previously won three Oscar-qualifying festival awards and was selected for the DOC NYC short list and the IDFA market in Amsterdam.
