NHK drama Brassum episode 30 airs November 6

Episode 30 of the NHK serial television drama "Brassum" will air on Friday, November 6, 2026, according to cinemacafe.net. The episode is titled "Futari, Kita e".

In this week's instalment, the tailoring shop opened by Tama, the drama's protagonist, gains a reputation among the neighbourhood. Local housewives Kuni and Tomi begin spending their days at the shop.

Aki, a pregnant woman close to giving birth, visits the shop and asks Tama to unpick a yukata and remake it as a baby's undergarment.

Meanwhile, Tamotsu faces a pile-up of problems, including how to cover living costs while attending university. Shogo Kimura, a relative of Tamotsu who works at a bank in Sapporo, suddenly arrives for a visit together with Teruko.

Teruko and Shogo propose to Tama and Tamotsu that they provide support for childbirth and living expenses.

Background

The story is modelled on the writer Uno Chiyo. In earlier instalments, the protagonist is caught up in difficulties including the Great Kanto Earthquake, war, marriage and divorce, bankruptcy and debt, and opens a path to becoming a writer after entering a literary competition following her move to Tokyo to stay with relatives.
