Yo Oizumi and director Kazuya Shiraishi attended a stage greeting for the film Bye Bye Love: Detective in a Bar at the 39th Tokyo International Film Festival on November 2, according to cinematoday.jp. The film was screened in the festival's Gala Selection section.
The film is the fourth entry in the Detective in a Bar series and the first new installment in nine years.
Oizumi said during the greeting that the sauna scenes in the film were removed, and that he can no longer wear the leather coat required for a month of winter shooting in Hokkaido.
Shiraishi said he increased the action scenes because he felt the series needs action, comedy and serious drama.
