Dexter Sol Ansell Joins Universal's Naughty Cast

Dexter Sol Ansell, Kate O'Flynn and Jamie Demetriou have joined the cast of Universal Pictures' holiday comedy Naughty, according to screenrant.com. The three actors come aboard alongside Peter Dinklage and Jennifer Aniston, whose casting was previously announced.

No character details have been revealed for Ansell, O'Flynn or Demetriou. In the film, Dinklage plays Santa Claus, who must be found by Mallory (Aniston) so he can testify in her divorce hearing.

The ensemble also includes Samara Weaving, Chase Sui Wonders, Ike Barinholtz, Regina Hall, Kate Berlant and John Early. Olivia Wilde directs from a script by Jimmy Warden.

Naughty is set for release in theaters on November 5, 2027.

Familiar faces from Westeros

Ansell plays Prince Aegon "Egg" Targaryen in A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, while Dinklage played Tyrion Lannister in Game of Thrones. The original Game of Thrones ran for eight seasons, led by Sean Bean as Ned Stark, Dinklage as Tyrion Lannister and Emilia Clarke as Daenerys Targaryen. A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms debuted six years after the Game of Thrones series finale, and its second season is slated for a 2027 release.

The two actors previously appeared in The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes — Ansell as a young Coriolanus Snow and Dinklage as Dean Casca Highbottom — without sharing any scenes. Warden's previous writing credits include Cocaine Bear, The Babysitter: Killer Queen and Borderline, while Wilde most recently directed and starred in A24's The Invite.
