Seán "Jacksepticeye" McLoughlin, a producer on the animated Bloodborne movie, said the film's full story has been mapped out, according to an interview with IGN. McLoughlin also said the people needed to make the film are in place.
He added that announcements about who is involved and what the story will be may come sooner rather than later.
McLoughlin said he does not want to simply redo the game's plot in movie form, indicating the adaptation will depart from the FromSoftware action-RPG's original narrative.
The animated Bloodborne movie was previously announced with McLoughlin as a producer. The game itself remains officially available only on PlayStation 4, and a pitched remake was rejected.
