Rosamund Pike is set to star in and produce the body horror film Feed, with Leslye Headland directing, according to Deadline.
Daniella Isaacs wrote the screenplay, which follows Erin, a mother who discovers a collagen supplement that promises to turn her tween gymnast daughter into a star influencer. Pike plays Erin.
Pike will produce through her Primitive Streak banner. Producers also include Shelley Browning for Magnolia Entertainment, Steven Schneider for Spooky Pictures, Ara Keshishian and Petr Jakl for ZQ Entertainment, and Sam Ritzenberg for Agile Films. ZQ Entertainment financed development of the script.
Sales for Feed launch at the American Film Market next week.
The screenplay is inspired by the 2022 Finnish film Hatching.
