Coway's Airmega Mighty 2 Named to TIME's Best Inventions of 2026

TIME picked the Airmega Mighty 2 in its Household category, citing its dual role of purification and real-time air quality measurement.

Coway said on October 12, 2026, that its Airmega Mighty 2 air purifier was named to TIME's Best Inventions of 2026 list in the Household category, according to techm.kr.

TIME described the device as an air purifier with two roles, combining air purification with real-time air quality measurement.

The Airmega Mighty 2 carries an IEST-certified high-performance HEPA filter and a carbon filter, and uses a MegaScan laser sensor to detect fine particles in real time. Coway says it consumes 20% less energy than its predecessor and runs at a noise level as low as 19dB.

The purifier has also received the Red Dot, iF and IDEA design awards.
