LG CNS completes 30 MW AI data center in Jakarta

LG CNS said it has secured customers for the full capacity of the 30 MW hyperscale AI data center it built in Jakarta, Indonesia.

LG CNS announced on November 2, 2026, that it has completed a 30 MW hyperscale AI data center in Jakarta, Indonesia, and secured customers for its full capacity, according to techm.kr.

The facility uses an air-cooled cooling system in its first construction phase, circulating air to lower the internal temperature. LG CNS plans to add a liquid cooling system for GPU heat in a later phase, creating a hybrid cooling structure.

LG CNS built a power system supporting more than 300 kW per rack, about 60 times the power needed for a typical data center rack. The project applied the integrated One LG solution, which combines LG CNS design-build-operate capability with LG Electronics air conditioning systems and LG Energy Solution batteries.

The project was ordered by KMG, a joint venture of Indonesia's Sinar Mas Group and Korea Investment Real Asset Management, in 2025.

LG CNS is designing a follow-up phase that would expand total power capacity to 400 MW, and plans to expand its AI data center business to Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, the Philippines and Japan.
