LG Electronics opens Life's Good Lounge at Vanderbilt University
The 112-square-meter space in Nashville is LG Electronics' first brand lounge at an overseas university and the first expansion of its Another Campus program abroad.
LG Electronics opened a 112-square-meter "Life's Good Lounge" in the student union building of Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, according to digitaltoday.co.kr. The company said it is the first time it has set up a brand space at a university outside Korea, and the first overseas expansion of its "Another Campus" program.
The lounge displays the OLED evo G6, StanbyME 2, Styler, UltraGear gaming monitors, Code Zero wireless vacuum, InstaView refrigerator, a lightwave oven and the PuriCare AeroTower. A career center inside the space is equipped with a Styler so students preparing for interviews can manage their clothing.
The gaming zone serves as the official practice space for Vanderbilt University esports and will host an "LG OLED Gaming Tournament." LG also plans an XBOOM singing contest and a "Life's Good Holiday Table" for students staying on campus over the holidays.
Existing campus program
Another Campus spaces already operate at four Korean universities: Seoul National University, Hanyang University, Pusan National University and UNIST. LG Electronics has run its Tennessee production corporation since 2018, and the factory was selected as a World Economic Forum lighthouse factory in 2023.
