Line Games details AI agent that automates code review and docs

Line Games presented the expanded role of its Nexus AI agent at Games on AWS 2026, held at the DoubleTree by Hilton Seoul Pangyo in Seongnam, according to techm.kr. The game publisher said it adopted Amazon Bedrock AgentCore to build an automated pipeline that connects code review with updates to technical documentation.

The session was delivered by the head of Line Games' Publishing Technology Office, who spoke under the title "Publishing Acceleration Agent Part 2: From Code Review to Automatic Document Reflection." Nexus AI is the company's agent that handles technical inquiries from external developers on its own, built together with AWS.

Under the new design, the agent analyzes platform code changes at the merge request stage, such as in GitLab, carries out a code review, and proposes revisions to related technical documents based on its findings. The proposed revisions are applied only after a person in charge approves them.

Updated documents then feed back into Nexus AI's knowledge base. Line Games said the same flow can also be used to check security issues that are otherwise easy to spot late in development.

Games on AWS 2026 is described as Korea's largest game conference, jointly hosted by AWS, Megazone Cloud and GS Neotek. Nexus AI has been in operation since last year, and the company shared the experience and the limits it found during that period.
