Oracle puts trustworthy AI agents at centre of AI World 2026 pitch

Oracle executives outlined plans to emphasise security, data access and control of autonomous agents in its enterprise AI messaging ahead of Oracle AI World 2026, according to digitaltoday.co.kr. The event is scheduled for Las Vegas from the 25th to the 28th.

Oracle named trustworthy agentic AI as a core theme. Juan Loaiza, senior vice president of database technology, said security bolted onto existing systems is insufficient and argued that AI, data management and application development should be integrated into one architecture.

Hassan Rizvi, senior vice president of database engineering product and research, presented Oracle AI Database as a foundation for enterprise AI, covering structured and unstructured data and agent building without moving data to a separate platform. Tirthankar Lahiri, senior vice president of mission-critical data and AI engine, and Sarah Narayan, vice president of product management, described a trust framework spanning data, access, knowledge and execution.

Security and data infrastructure

Oracle highlighted Trusted Answer Search, JSON Duality View and Deep Trust Architecture for database-level protection across users, applications and autonomous agents. Vipin Samar, senior vice president of database security software engineering, said maintenance cycles struggle against attackers who reverse-engineer patches to find vulnerabilities; Oracle said it is increasing risk visibility across databases and shipping security patches faster before vulnerabilities are exploited.

Cetin Ozbutun, senior vice president of data warehouse and autonomous database, said data infrastructure separates working AI applications from prototypes. Nipun Agarwal, senior vice president of software engineering, highlighted an autonomous AI lakehouse for analytics and AI-driven decisions without large data movement, while Jia Shi, vice president of the Oracle Data Systems software engineering group, said Exadata Live Migration moves active database VMs between servers without downtime.
