Samsung Intelligent Eyewear tipped for mid-December launch in Korea and US
A South Korean report says the Android XR glasses will start in two markets only, with pricing still undecided and Europe, China and Japan left out at first.
Samsung's Intelligent Eyewear glasses will go on sale in mid-December, according to a new South Korean report cited by GSM Arena. The first release is said to cover only South Korea and the US, leaving Europe, China and Japan out of the initial rollout.

The Intelligent Eyewear glasses run Android XR with Gemini and carry no display. They include a camera, microphones and speakers for real-time translation, voice directions and organizing photos of documents in the Galaxy phone Notes app.
The device uses the Snapdragon AR1 Gen 1 chipset, with promised battery life of up to 9 hours. The frames are designed with Gentle Monster and Warby Parker, and four styles have been shown so far.

Earlier in October 2026, a report out of South Korea claimed the Intelligent Eyewear would launch in November, citing a Samsung official. Samsung's Galaxy XR headset launched in South Korea and the US in October 2025 and only reached the UK in July 2026.
