Foxconn unveils Nvidia DSX POD for Vera Rubin at HHTD26
The modular reference design pre-integrates Nvidia Vera Rubin rack-scale systems; Foxconn showed it at its 7th Hon Hai Tech Day in Taipei.
Hon Hai Technology Group (Foxconn) presented the NVIDIA DSX POD, a standardized factory-built reference design for pre-integrating NVIDIA Vera Rubin rack-scale AI infrastructure in modular containers, at its 7th Hon Hai Tech Day (HHTD26) in Taipei on October 30-31, 2026.
The event featured a record 321 exhibits, about a quarter of them in a Token Factory zone. A 20-meter exhibition wall displayed Foxconn's AI infrastructure components and system integration, from parts to rack-level AI supercomputing systems, according to ZDNet Korea.
Also on show were PCBs with tens of thousands of micron-level precision parts, an AI server compute tray designed without cables, hoses or fans, co-packaged optics (CPO), and new power, cooling and high-speed data solutions. An immersive mock AI data hall demonstrated co-design of AI compute, networking, power and cooling, including NVIDIA 800 VDC power distribution technology.
Partners on stage
NVIDIA, Google and Schneider Electric discussed AI infrastructure, while Honda R&D and Mitsubishi Electric Mobility addressed next-generation electric mobility. Visionbay.ai, Foxconn's AI supercomputing and cloud unit and an NVIDIA Cloud Partner, plans facility designs based on NVIDIA DSX MaxLPS principles.
A robotics and humanoid zone gathered the largest number of embodied intelligence technologies at HHTD26, alongside a precision manufacturing area showing the technology behind the Poketomo AI companion robot. Teams also demonstrated how the NVIDIA Open Agent Safety Platform can support agent safety in smart healthcare, smart manufacturing and robotics, and smart cities.
A customer zone with photos and a technology timeline marked the first time Foxconn highlighted its long-standing partnerships. Chairman Young Liu said the company is transforming into a technology manufacturing platform service provider.
