SDT unveils 100kW AquaRack 42U immersion cooling for AI data centres
The single-phase system immerses servers in non-conductive fluid and adds a 42U option to SDT's existing 21U model, with TTA verification completed.
SDT said on 3 November 2026 that it has developed the AquaRack 42U, a single-phase immersion cooling system with a cooling capacity of 100kW. The system immerses servers directly in a non-conductive special cooling fluid.
The 42U model joins SDT's existing 50kW (21U) AquaRack in the company's lineup. SDT said the new unit supports 950mm GPU servers.
According to aitimes.com, SDT claims the AquaRack can cut power consumption by up to 90% on a cooling-load basis. An AquaRack deployed at the Pangyo HPC Innovation Hub recorded a power usage effectiveness (PUE) of 1.072 in a 72-hour continuous operation test.
The product passed verification testing by TTA, the Telecommunications Technology Association, and features redundant CDUs and circulation pumps.
